We regularly have pedigree bulls  and females for sale privately and also offer pedigree bulls at the Perth Bull  Sales, Stirling in February and October.

We also have high health status  commercial heifers regularly for sale. Please contact us with your specific  requirements or to arrange a viewing on farm.

The Strathisla and Cardean herds have a number of quality bulls entered for Stirling bull sales later this month, with all well grown and easy fleshing bulls.

Simmentals

Strathisla Fawkes – This son of Dellfield Brigadier is out of Strathisla Abbey’s Twiggy, a Celtic Starbuck daughter and comes from a tremendous female line, with Starbuck cows proving to be exceptionally milky.

Strathisla Farrier – Again by herd sire Brigadier, Farrier is out o the Omorga Samson daughter Strathisla Winnie’s Haka with all heifers from this dam having been retained to date and sons selling to 4500gns. He carries exceptional performance figures backed up by a strong pedigree.

Strathisla Ferrari – Another Bridgadier son this one is out of Strathisla Amy’s Haka, another Samson daughter which consistently rears the heaviest calf. She has bred a number of bulls which have gone on to work in commercial herds, while Ferrari has exceptional figures with the highest milk figure of +14 and great growth figures too.

Dellfield Brigadier has left his mark on the herd leaving easily fleshed milky females including Strathisla Foxy’s Mira 1st RHS 2015 – all bulls sold to date have gone onto produce quality commercial stock.

Charolais

Cardean Jupiter – Sired by herd sire Elgin Flagship he is out of  Cardean Gamma, a Blelack Colonel daughter and will suit a wide range of cows.

Cardean Jack – This one is again by Flagship and is out of Cardean Velvet, a Pedr Thumper daughter which has bred Cardean Irnbru and Goshawk sold for 6200gns and 7000gns, respectively. He carries a huge eye muscle figure and great retail beef yield figures.

Elgin Flagship has bred very well for us including Cardean Jealous reserve junior female champion RHS 2015 – all heifers from Flagship have been retained to date.

Cardean Junior – Sired by Goldies Eddy this one is an ET son out of Kelton Elegant the 2010 Royal Highland Show junior female champion who has left many females in the herd. Junior is in the top 5% for fat depth meaning he will leave easy fleshing calves with enough fat to suit processors’ requirements. Goldies Eddy is easily calved.
