After securing junior male champion, male champion, overall junior champion, overall charolais champion and then reserve junior beef interbreed champion at this year’s Royal Highland Show, 15-month old Ricnick Thor joins the Cardean herd as junior sire. Sired by Goldstar Gentleman, a trait leader for 200-day weight and out of a 30,000gns Dingle Hofmeister home-bred daughter. Thor was bought for an undisclosed figure in a private purchase shortly after this year’s show.
